Affiliate and sponsored-placement disclosures

Owner/legal review required: this plain-language draft explains the current labeling and separation rules before final legal approval.

Editorial assessment

B2B App Finder’s editorial assessment is based on the evidence, source links, eligibility, and freshness context available to the owner. Vendor claims are identified as vendor claims; they are not silently presented as independent editorial findings. Ratings, scores, organic order, and eligibility remain separate from commercial arrangements.

Affiliate and partner referrals

An affiliate or partner relationship is a separate commercial arrangement. It is not created by a vendor inquiry alone. When a supported referral CTA is published, its relationship and disclosure appear beside the CTA, with the exact destination retained from the owner-reviewed details.

Sponsored Featured Placement

Featured Placement is a paid, owner-approved visibility product. It may appear as featured directory visibility, a workflow or category spotlight, comparison-guide inclusion, or a listing enhancement when that context is confirmed in an approved offer. Each paid placement carries a visible sponsored label adjacent to the placement or CTA.

A sponsored placement does not change editorial scores, ratings, organic order, eligibility, source review, freshness context, or the owner’s assessment. The exact route, slot, term, price, CTA or referral destination, reporting fields, and disclosure are confirmed only in the approved offer.

Reporting and no-guarantee boundary

Where the existing flow records them, a performance view may show views, outbound clicks, referrals, or inquiries. These are recorded events, not guarantees of audience, traffic, impressions, opens, revenue, commissions, or conversions. An inquiry is not approval; payment verification precedes activation.
