Information we receive

Public directory browsing does not require an account. If you create an account, we use the details needed for sign-in and account security, plus your saved listings and account-scoped conversion state. If you use the contact form, we receive your name, email, message, selected request type, and any product, source, partner, or placement details you choose to provide.

Vendor submissions, affiliate or partner requests, and Featured Placement inquiries continue into separate private review records. A form submission does not publish an affiliate relationship or approve a sponsored placement.

How email is used

Transactional account email—such as verification, password recovery, and deletion confirmation—is separate from optional newsletter email. Contact and vendor-review notifications are used to respond to the request and coordinate review. Newsletter subscribers can manage interests or unsubscribe through the newsletter preferences route and its preference link.

Retention and deletion

We retain account, contact, review, and event records for as long as needed to operate, secure, audit, and improve the service, or as required by applicable obligations. You may request deletion or ask a privacy question through the in-app contact form. Account deletion currently removes account-scoped saved research and conversion state; separately consented newsletter preferences are managed independently.

Directory content and links

Directory content may include vendor-supplied information, editorial assessments, ratings, source links, freshness dates, and recorded placement events. Sources and vendor claims can change; review the vendor’s current materials before making a decision. External links take you to third-party services with their own terms and privacy practices.

Affiliate and paid placement data

Affiliate or partner relationships are reviewed separately and disclosed beside a supported referral CTA. Paid Featured Placement is labeled as sponsored and does not change editorial ratings, scores, organic order, eligibility, source review, or the owner’s assessment. Placement reporting is limited to recorded events where available; it is not a guarantee of traffic, conversions, revenue, commissions, or outcomes.
